I had a great experience with DeVroomen. Starting off, the website is a little confusing and can be inaccurate. I found looking at the spreadsheet they provide to be the best way to know if something is in stock. Shipping was also confusing initially and it was hard to find out exactly how it works. From what I found out, after your order is shipped, you are charged and there is no accurate estimate provided beforehand. Thankfully I live close enough and decided to drive out to DeVroomen to pick my order up. All of that being said, their customer service was fantastic. I didn't have any substitutions so I cannot comment on that aspect. However, whenever I called to add or change my order, I was met with someone who was more than happy to help me. And finally, I was amazed at the size and health of the bare roots I received. They were huge! Also, they were firm and just barely starting to sprout - very healthy. I want to add that the selection they have is great, they have many unique plants I don't see offered anywhere else. Overall, I would recommend DeVroomen. I will definitely be placing orders with them in the future.

They love to substitute order items without giving notice-lack of communication is a huge problem with them. Anthony is a helpful rep, but their operation is a mess. Unfortunate. Holland Bulb will be getting my business moving forward.

Had a pretty bad experience with a decent size order (20k+ bulbs/$10k+). I will be sticking with one of the other wholesale bulb suppliers next fall. Details below for those interested. TL;DR: Really poor communication, especially from the office manager. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for wholesale bulb needs. Luckily there are many good ones out there.... Abbott-Ipco, Colorblends, ADR Bulbs, Van Engelen, etc. Details: I submitted my order in early August for October delivery, got confirmation, and heard nothing for weeks. A few weeks out from delivery, I checked in with them to make sure everything was still on track for my delivery. They assured me everything was good. This, of course, would have been a good time to mention any issues with substitutions, but we will get to that later. After my delivery date came and went, I asked for updates. Responses were delayed and they rarely answered my questions. I only knew the order was on its way (3 weeks late) when I got a call from the freight company to schedule the drop. DeVroomen mentioned some issues with container delays, which is perfectly understandable. My issue was the complete lack of communication keeping me in the
